Crock Pot Weed Butter
The ingredients are weed butter and a couple of drops of vanilla extract.
Crock pot weed butter. Adding water helps to regulate the temperature and prevents the butter. Leave the butter and marijuana mix to cook for 6 hours on the lowest heat setting. I put all eight sticks of butter in the bottom of the pot add the 2oz of trim then add 2 5 quarts of water. As butter begins to melt add in your ground cannabis product.
Start with one ounce of marijuana. Increasing the heat will cause the thc to disintegrate leaving you with a batch of impotent pot butter that tastes nasty. Can be shake trim or ground up bud. Do not increase the heat thinking you will get weed butter quicker.
Add one cup of water and 1 lb of butter into a stock pot or sauce pan. Switch on the crockpot to its highest setting. Once the butter has melted cut up your weed and place it in the pot. Take the crock pot off the heat and strain the butter and marijuana through a cheese cloth into a bowl or jar.
Leave it for at least 12 hours but you can leave it up to 24 hours the longer the better. Remain patient keeping the setting on low. Simmer on low and let the butter melt. Add all three ingredients into the crock pot and set the temperature to low.
To make marijuana infused butter like a pro heat should be applied to the cannabis first to fully activate the thc a process known as decarboxylation. Adding water helps to regulate the temperature and prevents the butter from scorching. Place in a medium size crock pot. The amount of water isn t really important but you want enough to top off your crock pot and wet all of your trim bud.
To decarb your cannabis heat oven to 240. Add the vanilla extract and butter. Add one pound of unsalted butter and cover with water to the top. Add 1 cup of water and 1 cup of butter into a stock pot or saucepan.
Turn your slow cooker to low and whack the lid on. Mix it a bit to make sure everything is wet then put on the cover and turn your crock pot on low. Once you have a fine grind toss it into your slow cooker with a cup of water and a pound of unsalted butter around 450g. If you can add some water it will help quite a lot.
You need to let the butter melt at this time then simmer it on low.
